Justinas Chachlauskas was born in Lithuania in 1983. Since childhood he was interested in music and was dreaming of becoming a musician. Inspired by The Prodigy, Chemical Brothers, Underworld and others, he finished the academy of music (in 1999) and started to care about music creation. As Justin wanted to present his creations he started a DJ’s career. From that moment Justin was known as Virus J. The official debut was in 2000, when Lithuanian radio stations presented this work Virus J feat. Aiga “ Isgirsk” (“Hear it”)for the first time. Next year Justin dived into the movement of Computer music club, which was established by the famous Lithuanian composer Giedrius Kuprevicius. Justin started to study technology of music in 2003. In 2004 Virus J made some remixes for Lithuanian pop stars. One of them – Sati “Loving Soul” (Virus J vocal mix) became a hit in Lithuania nightclubs. At the same time he and DJ Grasso organized the parties called “Keep control” in the home town, which were very popular. Virus J got a lot of experience from producing pop stars. He and DJ Sun debut in Piliavin and Zimbardo “Distraekt” label in 2005. The first record “Cocain/Get drunk” was particularly successful. In club music tops “Cocain” was the 6th in Holand… His productions have already been supported and/or charted by DJ’s like John Digweed, Thoman Penton, Piliavin & Zimbardo, Anthony Pappa, That Kid Chris, Peter Rauhofer, Chus & Ceballos, Aldrin, D-Formation, DJ 19, Niki B & Christian E.F.F.E., Red & Blue, Deepgroove, Flash Brothers, Hybrid, Deepsky and many more…
